Sunderland 1-1 Swansea: Dick Advocaat 'very proud' of display

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat is pleased with the "commitment" shown by his side during their 1-1 draw with Swansea at the Stadium of Light.

Advocaat's side had a crisis meeting after last week's 3-1 defeat by Norwich and responded with an improved performance as Jermain Defoe's equaliser earned their first point of the season.

The Black Cats' draw came despite just two shots on target to Swansea's nine.
