Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal: 'Very harsh' red card changed game - McClaren

Newcastle manager Steve McClaren says Aleksandar Mitrovic's 16th-minute red card was "very harsh" and that it changed the game as his side lost 1-0 against Arsenal at St James' Park.

A Fabricio Coloccini own goal early in the second half sent Arsenal away with the points as the hosts failed to register a single shot on target.

Newcastle have not beaten Arsenal at home in the league since December 2005 and have lost each of the last eight meetings between the sides.
