Newcastle 0-0 Stoke: Butland frustrated Newcastle - McClaren

Newcastle manager Steve McClaren says Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland was "magnificent" after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at St James's Park.

The Magpies went close when a first-half header from striker Aleksandar Mitrovic hit the post, and Butland twice saved impressively from Moussa Sissoko.

Newcastle have had 36 shots in their last two Premier League games, but have failed to score in either.
