Cliftonville beat Ballymena United to go second

Cliftonville's 4-2 victory over Ballymena United at Solitude moves them into second place in the Irish Premiership.

Chris Curran's opener and two penalties from David McDaid saw the Reds assume control of the game but Willie Faulkner and Gary Thompson were on target to reduce Ballymena's deficit to a single goal.

Substitute James Knowles made the win safe with the deftest of touches from a Tomas Cosgrove assist eight minutes from time.
