Linfield hammer 10-man Ballymena United 4-0 to avenge their County Antrim Shield final defeat by the Braidmen.

Sean Ward, Ross Gaynor, Paul Smyth and Andrew Waterworth were on target for the visitors at the Showgrounds while United's Tony Kane was dismissed.

Linfield skipper Andrew Waterworth was delighted with his classy volley, which sealed victory for the title contenders.
