Jess Fishlock: I nearly quit Wales after World Cup play-off defeat

Jess Fishlock has revealed she contemplated international retirement after Wales’ World Cup play-off defeat by Switzerland in 2022.

A chat with her mum convinced Fishlock to carry on and she is now targeting a place at Euro 2025.

Wales play their first qualifying game against Croatia on Friday in Wrexham.
