Pastor Maldonado is pleased that his Williams team's hard work has paid off after qualifying third-fastest for the Belgian Grand Prix, though he will start the race from sixth after being penalised for blocking Nico Hulkenberg during Q1.

The Venezuelan's Williams team-mate Bruno Senna only managing to qualify in 17th position at Spa-Francorchamps, with Maldonado yet to score a point since taking his dramatic maiden win in Spain earlier in the season.
