McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh upbeat despite Lewis Hamilton exit

Team principal Martin Whitmarsh is excited about McLaren's future despite losing Lewis Hamilton to Mercedes next season.

Hamilton has signed a three-year deal to race for Mercedes from next season, with Sauber's Sergio Perez replacing him at McLaren.

Whitmarsh believes McLaren have a successful future ahead of them after signing Perez, who he describes as "the most exciting young talent in F1".
