BBC Sport's Ben Edwards and Gary Anderson sum up the first four days of pre-season testing from the Jerez circuit in Spain.

Technical analyst Anderson analyses Mercedes' stuttering start to the season, predicting constructor's champions Red Bull will perform well again in 2013 and commenting that Lotus also look "very strong".

Teams will now pack up and head to Barcelona for the second test, which begins on February 19 at the Circuit de Catalunya.
