Nico Rosberg suffers a dramatic tyre failure during second practice for the Belgian Grand Prix.

Rosberg was the fastest man on-track at Spa-Francorchamps when the right-rear tyre exploded on his Mercedes as he approached the 180mph Blanchimont corner.

Rosberg's wife Vivian is due to give birth to a baby girl at any moment, and the 30-year-old has a private plane on standby in order to be present for the birth.

The Belgian Grand Prix is live across the BBC this weekend.
