Fernando Alonso happy with first Indy 500 practice
Fernando Alonso has his first day of official practice for the Indianapolis 500, saying afterwards that "everything went fine".
The McLaren driver, who is racing at this year's event on 28 May instead of at the Monaco Grand Prix, was 19th on Monday with a 223.025mph average.
