Armagh manager Paul Grimley baffled by heavy defeat

Armagh manager Paul Grimley says he cannot explain what went wrong after seeing his side crumble to a 24-point defeat at the hands of Tyrone in the McKenna Cup.

Coming three days after an encouraging display against Donegal, Grimley was downcast in the wake of a 5-16 to 0-7 reverse at Healy Park.

"It was a cruel place to be, on the sideline on a night like that," said the Orchard county boss, who agreed that his team had shown a lack of fight.

However, Grimley added that he had to take "full responsibility" for the defeat.
