Brian McIver's says Tyrone's finishing decided McKenna semi

Derry manager Brian McIver says Tyrone's superior finishing was the key factor in his team's 2-13 to 1-13 McKenna Cup semi-final defeat at Omagh.

Despite that, McIver felt his team went into the final 10 minutes of the contest with a chance of taking the victory.

Having used all his team's substitutes, Derry were forced to play for almost the last 10 minutes of action with only 14 players after Patsy Bradley was black carded and McIver acknowledged that he will probably learn lessons from that for the upcoming Football League campaign.
