GAA president Liam O'Neill says Croke 'focused' on Ulster hurling

GAA president Liam O'Neill says Croke Park is determined to develop hurling across Ulster and denies that the game is a "sick child" in the province.

A crowd of only 138 watched the recent 2013 Ulster Senior Hurling Final at Celtic Park and O'Neill admitted that the paltry attendance showed that the much-delayed game was "not of interest to spectators".

However, the GAA president insists that helped by Croke Park, that the Ulster Council is aiming to grow hurling by focusing on areas where camogie is already strong.
