Aaron Kernan says Armagh's win over Cavan is 'huge' for the team
Aaron Kernan says he was delighted to contribute to Armagh's Ulster SFC win over Cavan as he came on in the second half after an injury-affected nine months.
"It was a new challenge for me [being a substitute]. I was back in full training this past two weeks but players play, managers manage," said Kernan.
"It was the boys decision to go with what they went with and you couldn't really complain with how the team was playing over the first 40 minutes.
"I was delighted to get the chance when I did. I probably made a few mistakes, gave a few balls away and could have put a man through for an open goal but maybe that's just a bit of rustiness."
