Monaghan manager Malachy O'Rourke hoping to 'raise the bar'
Monaghan manager Malachy O'Rourke says his side will "keep working and trying to raise the bar" as they prepare to begin the defence of their Ulster title in Sunday's quarter-final against Down on Sunday.
O'Rourke is in his fourth season of management with the Farney County, his side having won two of the three Ulster finals they have reached during his tenure.
"We have a nice blend of mixture and experience but we think we can achieve more and progress more," said O'Rourke.
"We feel we are in good shape going into the Championship but we have to produce on the day."
