McKenna Cup a welcome season-opener - Tyrone boss Harte
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte says fans are keenly anticipating the return of gaelic football as the new inter-county season prepares to get underway with the McKenna Cup this weekend.
The Tyrone boss believes the competition is in no way to blame for congestion in the fixture calendar, but thinks the National League and the Championship could both be condensed.
Tyrone begin their Section C campaign against Cavan at Breffni Park on Sunday (14:00 GMT) as they target a sixth consecutive triumph in the competition.
