Steph Houghton urges People's Cup 5-a-side sign up

Manchester City and England captain Steph Houghton urges women, men and teenagers to sign up for the FA People's Cup.

This free knockout tournament will give up to 14,000 teams and more than 100,000 players the chance to play in their version of The FA Cup.

If you have been looking for an excuse to get back into the game, or to try it for the first time, take advantage of the free games on offer and you could win a VIP trip to the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 30 May.

The FA People's Cup welcomes female, male and disability players across 10 categories - ranging from under-14s through to veterans (over 35s). It also features the increasingly popular walking football, which caters to those who enjoy playing the beautiful game at a slightly more sedate pace!

It is open to established 5-a-side teams as well as individuals, who can join 'wild card' teams that are formed on the day.

Disability Football Finalists will be decided through a series of Disability Football Festivals taking place in March and April.

Want to be involved? Find a FA People's Cup venue & register, external before 14th February. For details of your local disability festival send an email, external stating your postcode.
