Louis Smith prepared to miss out on 2016 Olympic Games

Louis Smith admits he is "not expecting to make the team" at the Rio 2016 Olympics as he prepares to make a return to competition.

The 24-year-old will take part at this weekend's English Championships in Wigan as he attempts to earn a place at the Commonwealth Games, but the pommel horse specialist says he would have to excel on further apparatus if he were to compete again for Team GB.

Smith won individual silver and a team bronze at the London Olympics in 2012, but took a break from competition during which he won the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing television show.
