European Artistic Gymnastics Championships: GB's women win silver medal

Great Britain's women match their best-ever team result by claiming the silver medal at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bulgaria.

The five-strong squad featuring Claudia Fragapane, Becky Downie, Ruby Harrold, Hannah Whelan and Rebecca Tunney, who had led the qualification standings on Thursday, speak to BBC Sport's Nick Hoep after scoring 170.633 points from 12 routines across four apparatus.

Reigning champions Romania (172.754) took gold, with Russia (169.329) in third place.

Britain's only previous team medal in the event came in 2010 when the squad - which included the now-retired Beth Tweddle - finished second in Birmingham.
