GB handball women surprise Russia in narrow defeat

Great Britain's women's handball team exceeded all expectations with a narrow 24-16 loss to world champions Russia at Crystal Palace.

Britain lost to Montenegro in their first Euro 2012 qualifier and had been expected to struggle even more against the Russians, but pushed the visitors hard throughout.
