Ireland hockey players reach 150 caps milestone in Belfast

Ireland hockey players Shirley McCay and Alex Speers win their 150th caps in this week's European Championship warm-up games in Belfast.

Speers reached the landmark against Wales on Monday, while McCay, from Omagh, made the milestone in the match with Scotland on Tuesday.

The Irish, who narrowly missed out on qualification for the Olympics next year, will face Belarus, the Netherlands and Belgium in the championships next month.

New coach Darren Smith believes they are getting the blend right.
