Ireland's women lose 6-0 to Olympic champions the Netherlands in the European Hockey Championships.

Ireland kept the deficit to one goal for much of the game but the floodgates opened in the second half as injuries took their toll. Ellen Hoog scored twice for the Netherlands, including a pin-point strike that is one of the stand-out goals of the tournament so far.

The Netherlands are widely regarded as the best team in women's hockey and it showed in their impressive victory.
