England's men beat Poland 5-2 in their first pool match at the European Hockey Championships in Boom, Belgium

Adam Dixon gave England the lead, before Tomasz Gorny levelled shortly after the break. Goals from David Condon, Alastair Brogdon and Tom Carson sealed England's victory.

England next face the Netherlands on Monday.
