New Belfast coach Steve Thornton predicts more Giants success

Steve Thornton's return as the coach of the Belfast Giants was revealed to season ticket holders at a special fans event at the Odyssey Arena.

With the majority of the Elite League title-winning side already committed to another campaign, the Canadian is confident that he has a strong enough squad to defend the title.

Thornton succeeds Paul Adey, who stepped down at the end of the season.
