MotoGP: Jorge Lorenzo storms to pole in Qatar

Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo storms to pole with a time of one minute, 54.634 seconds at the opening MotoGP of the season in Qatar.

The Spaniard finished ahead of second-place Casey Stoner of Australia and Britain's Cal Crutchlow in third.

Lorenzo says he had to "push his Yamaha to the limits" and is "really happy" to lead the grid for Sunday's race.
