World Snooker 2012: Champion Higgins low on confidence
Reigning world champion John Higgins admits his "focus has not been there" as he prepares to battle the world's best to retain his crown at the Crucible Theatre.
Higgins, a four-time winner in Sheffield, believes he has "three weeks to rectify his season" and plans to improve his chances through "intense" practice before the tournament begins on 21 April.
The "Wizard of Wishaw" reveals he hopes to keep playing for another six years, but believes matching countryman Stephen Hendry's record of seven world titles is "a little bit unrealistic".
