'Battered and bruised' Cal Crutchlow ready for Silverstone
Cal Crutchlow feels "battered and bruised" following a high-speed crash in testing last week, but insists he is still "in great shape" ahead of this weekend's British MotoGP at Silverstone.
The Tech 3 Yamaha rider will be seeking a first MotoGP podium in Sunday's race, revealing it "means a lot" for him to take part after missing out on last year's Grand Prix following a crash in qualifying in which he broke his collarbone.
Crutchlow currently lies fifth in the rider's championship, four points adrift of team-mate Andrea Dovizioso.
