Dani Pedrosa's nightmare start at San Marino Grand Prix

MotoGP title contender Dani Pedrosa crashes out of the San Marino Grand Prix on the first lap of the race at the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano.

Honda rider Pedrosa went into the race on pole, but he suffered brake problems after the race was race re-started. The Spaniard then began the race in last place and was making his way through the field when his back wheel was struck by Pramac rider Hector Barbera.

Pedrosa was seeking his third win in a row, having closed the gap to 13 points in the standings behind championship leader Jorge Lorenzo.
