French MotoGP: Marc Marquez takes pole at Le Mans

Championship leader Marc Marquez takes pole position for the French MotoGP at Le Mans ahead of reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo.

Lorenzo was just three hundredths of a second slower than the Repsol Honda rider, with Andrea Dovizioso impressively claiming his first front-row start for Ducati in third.

Britain's Cal Crutchlow will start fourth, while Dani Pedrosa recovered from a crash nine minutes before the end of the session to qualify fifth fastest.
