MotoGP: Marc Marquez and Bradley Smith crash at Mugello

Rookie riders Marc Marquez and Bradley Smith both crash out during practice for the Italian Grand Prix in difficult conditions at Mugello.

Marquez, who is second in the World Championship standings, escaped any serious injuries while British rider Smith says he will need a skin graft to repair damage to his little finger.

He also fractured a bone in his wrist but both he and Marquez are expected to take part in qualifying on Saturday.
