Derry manager Brian McIver welcomes Croke Park experience

Derry manager Brian McIver says playing at Croke Park will provide his young squad with some valuable experience ahead of their Ulster Championship opener against Down on 2 June.

The Oak Leafers take on Westmeath in the Football League Division 2 Final on Sunday.

"The average age of our squad is just 23 and we want to continue to build momentum for the Championship," said McIver.
