Red Hands beat Donegal in Ulster Minor Football clash

Ronan Nugent's first-half goal helps holders Tyrone beat Donegal 1-9 to 1-3 in Sunday's Ulster Minor Football game at Ballybofey.

Donegal had plenty of possession but were undone by 19 wides.

Darragh O'Connor hit the opening point for Donegal but Nugent's goal helped Tyrone move into a 1-4 to 0-2 lead by the interval.

O'Connor's fisted goal cut Tyrone's lead to 1-6 to 1-2 but the Red Hands extended their lead and held on despite some late Donegal pressure.
