Jim McGuinness says Donegal were sluggish against Mayo
Donegal manager Jim McGuinness admits his side were 'sluggish and lethargic' in their All-Ireland quarter-final mauling at the hands of Mayo at Croke Park.
The Donegal boss offered no excuses for his side's performance and added that the squad would "analyse things over the next couple of weeks".
"We have no complaints - Mayo brought a greater hunger and desire to the game and were by far the better team. It's a tough day for everyone associated with Donegal."
In contrast, Mayo manager James Horan said he was "delighted" with his side's display and the result.
