Cavanagh reflects on tackle controversy

Tyrone midfielder Sean Cavanagh talks in depth about the furore which followed his tackle on Monaghan's Conor McManus in the All-Ireland football quarter-final.

Cavanagh, who was fiercely criticised by TV pundit Joe Brolly for pulling down McManus, said he had taken a calculated risk for the benefit of his team.

He revealed that the players he had spoken to since said they did not understand what all the fuss had been about.
