North West 200: Alastair Seeley waits on 'right deal' for 2017 campaign

Alastair Seeley tells BBC Sport NI's Stephen Watson that he is weighing up his options for the 2017 season after ending his association with the Briggs RAF Reserves team.

The Carrickfergus rider is keen to combine a deal to compete at the North West 200 with an agreement to race in a class of the British short circuit championship next year.

Seeley won both Supersport events in 2016 to take his tally of successes over the Triangle circuit to a record 17.

The former British Supersport and Superstock champion was interviewed at the announcement that Vauxhall would be continuing as title sponsor of the North West 200 for a fifth consecutive year.

The event will be staged from 9-13 May 2017.
