Whyte's 'relief' as 2023 North West 200 is saved

North West 200 director Mervyn Whyte says he was concerned that an inability to hold the meeting in 2023 could put the entire future of the event in jeopardy.

Soaring insurance costs had put the entire 2023 Northern Ireland road racing season in peril but on Wednesday it was announced that a deal had been arrived at to allow road racing, short circuits and trials to take place.
