Keri-Anne Payne turns attentions to London 2012

Keri-Anne Payne says she swam the perfect race in winning the gold medal in the 10k open water event at the Fina World Championships in Shanghai, a win that resulted in her becoming the first British athlete to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The 23-year-old admits that 2011 has been amazing for her but says next year will be much tougher as she begins her preparations for the Olympics.

The 2009 world champion and 2008 Olympic silver medallist completed the course at Jinshan City Beach in two hours, one minute and 58.1 seconds.
