British Olympic Authority undermining Wada - US anti-doping chief

United States Anti-Doping Agency's chief executive, Travis Tygart, tells BBC sports news reporter Matt Slater that the British Olympic Authority's policy of lifetime bans for drugs cheats is not in accordance with World Anti-Doping Agency policy.

On Thursday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) will rule on Olympic champion LaShawn Merritt's appeal, external over a fban, external imposed by the International Olympic Committee.

A Cas ruling in Merritt's favour might open the way for banned athletes such as Dwain Chambers, external and David Millar , externalto challenge the BOA over their bans.
