No issue with David Beckham Olympic availability - Pearce

England under-21 and Olympic team boss Stuart Pearce says David Beckham's decision to sign a contract extension with LA Galaxy will not affect his availability for London 2012.

Instead Pearce says the fact that the Olympic tournament will be in the middle of the MLS season could give Beckham an advantage in terms of match fitness.

Pearce also says he hopes fans of all nations will get behind the GB football team saying "we are united under a banner of Great Britain."
