Edwards explains why mattresses matter to 2012 athletes

Former GB triple jumper Jonathan Edwards explains how he and other retired Olympians on LOCOG's athletes' committee chose the mattresses for accommodation in London's Olympic village.

Edwards, himself over 6 ft, says the beds are extendable to accommodate tall athletes, such as basketball players.

The commentator spoke to BBC Sport's James Pearce as he toured the Olympic village.
