Iain Lewers hopes to deliver for Team GB's hockey squad

Iain Lewers is hoping to create his own slice of Olympic hockey history for Northern Ireland at London 2012.

Lewers has made Team GB's 16-man squad for the Games, following in the footsteps of Northern Ireland's Jimmy Kirkwood (1988) and Stephen Martin (1984, 1988 and 1992) who helped GB to Olympic gold in Seoul '88.

Lewers, who played for Ireland until 2008, is confident Great Britain can come through a tough Pool A section, starting against Argentina on Monday July 30.
