London 2012 table tennis: China's gold in table tennis

China's Li Xiaoxia wins table tennis gold with a 4-1 victory over compatriot Ding Ning in the women's singles final.

Reigning world champion Ding Ning was penalised for her service action with the score at 2-1 and, upset at the decision, never recovered her composure.

China have won the women's singles gold medal in every Games since it was introduced back in Seoul 1988.
