Olympic rowing: GB's Alan Campbell proud of his bronze
An exhausted Alan Campbell just about manages to tell John Inverdale of his pride after claiming a bronze in the men's single sculls, before being helped to the podium by Sir Steve Redgrave.
New Zealand's Mahe Drysdale and Czech Ondrej Synek pulled away from the field before the Kiwi powered on to seal victory by half a length.
Campbell, who came fifth in the event at the 2008 Beijing Games, was just behind Sweden's Lassi Karonen at the 1500m mark, but was roared onto bronze by the Eton Dorney crowd.
