Olympics athletics: Jessica Ennis 'speechless' after record

British heptathlete Jessica Ennis says she is "speechless" after setting the fastest time for the 100m hurdles in a heptathlon.

Her time of 12.54 equalled USA's Dawn Harper gold in the 100m hurdles individual event in Beijing and the former world champion was stunned by her achievement.

In her second event in the heptathlon, the high jump, Ennis cleared 1.86m and has an overall lead of 25 points.

Ennis also said that she was delighted by the reception she received from the home crowd.
