Olympics gymnastics: Izbasa beats Maroney to vault gold

Romania's Sandra Izbasa shocks favourite McKayla Maroney to win gold in the women's vault final with a total of 15.191, after the American stumbled in her second vault.

Reigning world vaulting champion Maroney superbly executed her difficult Amanar vault to start but sat down her second vault to throw away hopes of gold.

Russian Maria Paseka, runner-up to Izbasa at the 2012 European vault championships, grabbed bronze with a score of 15.050.
