Olympics: Lawrence Okoye through despite discus disaster

Lawrence Okoye is through to Tuesday's final after throwing 65.28m with his third effort, a great recovery after an opening throw that went horribly wrong.

Okoye roars his approval after securing his place in the final bringing his coach John Hillier to his feet in the stands.

Okoye's effort is the fourth-best throw in the qualifying round but team-mate Abdul Buhari is out after his best effort of 60.08m fell short of the 65m-plus required to make the final.
