Olympics athletics: Liu Xiang falls at the first hurdle

China's former Olympic gold medal winner and world record holder Liu Xiang is out of the 110m hurdles after clattering into the first hurdle in his heat at the London 2012 Olympics.

2004 champion Xiang, whose hopes of home success at the Beijing 2008 Olympics were ruined by injury, left the arena in a wheelchair.
