Jenna Randall and Olivia Federici, the first British synchronised swimming duet to reach an Olympic final in 20 years, finish in ninth place with a total score of 177.270.
Russia's Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina won the duet Olympic gold with a total of 197.100 points.
Spain finished ahead of China in the battle for silver.
