Olympics women's football: Canada beat France to bronze

A 92nd-minute goal from Diana Matheson earns Canada the bronze medal in the women's football with a 1-0 win over France at the City of Coventry stadium.

Despite dominating the game, France were unable to find a breakthrough and with the game heading towards extra-time the Canadians stole the win.

The Canadians, coached by Englishman John Herdman, had never previously won a medal in women's football and their success is the nation's 15th medal of the Games so far.
